‘Bachelorette’ Hannah B. and Peter Reunite for First Time After Heart-Wrenching Breakup
After Hannah Brown dumped Peter Weber on The Bachelorette, the former flames went through a tough breakup. Now, on After the Final Rose, the pair reunited for the first time, but it seems like the pilot got the closure he needed.
The 24-year-old blonde beauty greeted Peter with a big smile, and it seemed like they were both genuinely happy to see one another. So, what exactly happened? “There wasn’t anything wrong,” she told the handsome hunk. “I know that’s probably hard to hear because I wish I could give you a clear, concrete answer, but I truly thought you’d be meeting my family. I really thought you would meet them, but I don’t know if I was falling in love with you, but I was also falling in love for two other guys too. And I woke up that morning, honestly, it was that morning, and I had to follow my heart.”
But the 27-year-old California native understood what Hannah was going through. “That’s all I could ask from you,” he said. “Obviously, I wish it was a different result in that moment, but I respect that, and I can’t blame that.”
The only thing the interior designer wished for was that Peter would have revealed his feelings sooner than later. “If you would have told me because I was scared, and I think I felt like you were scared to love me. If I could think of anything and that you were apprehensive about hearing your feelings, and if anything, I wish I would have known a little bit sooner how you felt, but I felt it.”
However, the Alabama native confessed that it wasn’t easy to end their relationship. “I knew I was going to hurt you, but I was also getting hurt too,” she explained. “Because I was falling in love with you and that didn’t just go away when I say goodbye. It’s been really hard to watch everything. Everything we had was real, and the way I felt for you was real, and I know that way you felt for me was real. It’s so hard because in this position because you don’t know if you’re making the right decision, and I think I was scared I was letting go of the perfect guy.”
Obviously, viewers know there was passion between Peter and Hannah throughout their relationship. Who could forget that they had sex in a windmill two times? Well, Hannah wanted to clear up any misconceptions — the duo actually had sex four times. Damn!
It seems like everything worked out for the best, though. “For me, this entire journey, I’ve made it a point to always be myself … I wasn’t going to force anything … I was just waiting for the right moment, and I didn’t want to force anything, I wanted it to be organic,” he said. “So, I don’t regret anything.”
