Going strong! Dean Unglert exclusively dished to Life & Style that his relationship with Caelynn Miller-Keyes is going well since they left Bachelor in Paradise together. The two have only been romantically involved for a few months but seem like a great pair, despite their bumpy beginning.

While the 28-year-old joked that his and the beauty queen’s “interests are way different,” he noted that they have amazing chemistry. “She’s great. She challenges me. We have a lot of fun when we hang out together, and despite our differences, I guess that we enjoy each other’s company. And that’s what at the end of the day is important,” he explained during the iHeart Radio Music Festival. “In my opinion, we gotta hang out. We gotta have fun. We gotta laugh. You gotta smile. Yeah, we just enjoy it.”

Dean ended things with the 24-year-old on the beach in Mexico because he didn’t think they had a future once the cameras stopped rolling. However, he returned a few weeks later and begged her to leave the show with him. While that’s all very romantic, the reality stud confirmed that he’s a “person that values my space” and is happy with where their status currently sits. “Things are going well. I don’t want to really go much further than that. But she’s fantastic. She’s great. We’re having a lot of fun together,” he said. “I’m excited for the future, but I’m not ready to say that she’s the one or anything like that.”

Considering they just got together, Dean added that the duo is still finding their groove. “We’re both very adventurous. We both like to travel places. Obviously, our relationship is very new. We’re two and a half months into our relationship, so, we’re trying to figure everything out. It’s like a learning period,” he said. “She’s got her interests; I got mine. And it’s just a matter of time, you gotta figure out how those all meld together.”

The unconventional contestant raised some eyebrows when he decided to live in a van and travel around the country, but that hasn’t stopped him from finding a girlfriend. He shared some key advice for people who want the best of both worlds. “I think you could just go about doing what you wanna do. Your interests. And you explore your hobbies and you’re gonna find the person that aligns with you directly. And that’s what’s really the most important,” he divulged.
