Not all heroes wear capes! Model Hunter McGrady took to social media to share an incredibly powerful post about beauty standards. “Hey … I wanted to remind you guys that stretch marks are normal,” the Sports Illustrated powerhouse, 26, captioned her Instagram Story on Tuesday, May 28, along with a snapshot of her stomach. “And my breasts have them, too,” she continued. “Let’s start normalizing this s–t.” Hell yeah, Hunter!

Of course, this is hardly the first time that the California native has spoken out about body positivity. In fact, she’s one of the most prominent women of the movement, and for good reason. Hunter is all about self-love and confidence. “I just do what I feel is sexy — it’s never about hiding anything,” she told InStyle in an interview published on May 9.

“It’s never about ‘Oh, let me tuck this in, let me do this, let me do that,’” she continued. “I really want to showcase my body as it is. It’s so important that it’s prevalent in the images that are picked.” That said, Hunter isn’t naive to the fact that sometimes professional images are going to look just *that.* However, she’s careful to spread awareness to her followers that there’s quite a bit involved behind the scenes. “Hair, makeup, lighting, photographers,” Hunter listed.

To be honest, whether the curvy bombshell is gracing the pages of a world-famous magazine or posing for a selfie, her message is always loud and clear: Embrace the skin you’re in. So much so, that Hunter’s favorite “outfit” happens to be something a lot of people dread wearing. “I think less is more. I love a teeny-tiny bikini,” she dished.

“I’m not, like, a tankini girl. I have nothing against them — there are some really amazing tankinis and high-waisted swimsuits — but I just prefer a teeny-tiny bikini,” Hunter expressed. Alright, girl, we love you, but some of us need to learn how to walk before we can run … in a bikini, that is. Either way, we so appreciate Hunter’s message. You’re an inspiration to us all!
