The “First Class” rapper gave the publication an update on his relationship status and revealed he was single at the time.
However, Jack sparked dating rumors with pop sensation Dua Lipa in December 2022, according to reports by Page Six. The pair both performed at the iHeart Jingle Ball in Los Angeles on December 2, 2022. The following day, both Dua and Jack attended the Variety Hitmakers Brunch where they were seen chatting before posing for a photo together. The publication captured the interaction and posted the video to their Instagram account.
The dating rumors between the two musicians swirled seven months after Jack released his hit “Dua Lipa.”
“Dua Lipa, I’m tryna do more with her than do a feature,” Jack raps in the song.
The “Churchill Downs” artist native revealed he asked Dua for her approval of releasing the song, which led to an awkward interaction.
“I wanted to get her blessing, so I FaceTimed her and played it for her because I didn’t want her to be blindsided by that or feel, like, creeped out or anything,” Jack explained during a May 2022 appearance on The Breakfast Club. “If she had said, ‘Yo, I hate it. I don’t want it to come out,’ it wouldn’t have come out.”
According to Jack, the “Don’t Start Now” songstress told him “it wasn’t her song” so, she “supposed it was OK.”
Reps for Dua and Jack did not immediately respond to Life & Style’s request for comment.

His flirty exchange with Youtuber Emma Chamberlain at the 2022 Met Gala gave everyone butterflies, but there was another host he had a major crush on growing up.
“My first crush was Vanessa Hudgens,” he said during a June 2022 Teen Vogue: Firsts segment. “I was in fifth grade, and I was like, ‘My God. Yeah, she’s just right up my alley.’”
