Kim Kardashian Gives Tour of Her Fridge and Pantry After Fans Find It ‘Baffling’
Hungry? Kim Kardashian gave a full tour of her kitchen, pantry and (multiple) fridges after she received backlash over an advertisement for SKIMS. Fans thought the photo, which showed the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star eating out of an empty bowl in front of an equally barren fridge, to be “baffling.” However, the reality star made it abundantly clear that her home is stacked with healthy food and lots of snacks.
“OK, since the inside of my fridge is so baffling and I saw all these news reports, I’m going to give you guys a tour of my fridge,” the 39-year-old began on her Instagram Story with a cherry filter on her cheeks. She further explained the reasoning behind her spontaneous food tour by writing, “I saw a bunch of comments from people wondering how I feed my [four] children and since you guys are dying to know, here is a peak inside our main fridge filled with fruits and veggies.”
The walkthrough began in her massive pantry that featured one long shelf running around the perimeter, which was lined with tubs of yummy stuff. “So, you’ll come into my pantry. I got rid of all my plastic so it’s all, like, glass jars — even all my sprinkles and stuff for my frozen yogurt,” she explained. And, yes, she opened a door that revealed a full-on frozen yogurt machine.
The picture for SKIMS featured Kim standing in front of ~one~ of her many refrigerators, which she also showed on her video. “I got rid of all plastic bottles so this is my drink fridge. All my kids use a different kind of milk, you guys,” Kim said. “My fresh juices and water, that’s all that’s in this fridge. However, let me show you something.”
The KKW Beauty founder then walked into a commercial-sized kitchen with personal chefs busy at work. “This is the kitchen where it all happens … And, guys, I have a walk-in refrigerator where we keep all of our fresh, organic produce,” she added. The starlet dished that the Kardashian-West family may soon be self-sufficient when it comes to their produce. “We are building on the property all organic trees to grow our own vegetables and do all of our own stuff,” she noted. “So, all of our stuff is in here. So it did look like an empty refrigerator that I took the photo in front of, I have to admit, but this is our big main refrigerator, guys.”
Don’t worry, fans. The famous family will not go hungry.
