It turns out, Nikki Bella might not be quite ready to get back into the dating game. Bachelor Nation alum Peter Kraus swooped in for a kiss during their date on Total Bellas and she swiftly denied him. She didn’t want to smooch on the first date but it looks like the silver fox is still holding out hope for a second date.

To make things slightly more awkward, their first outing was captured on camera and showed the two having a romantic gondola ride followed by cozying up and drinking wine. “Why are you laughing?” Nikki, 35, asked as the pair sat together. Peter coyly responded, “I just really want to kiss you.” As he leaned in, the reality starlet firmly said, “No!” as she backed away from his advances.

“I haven’t kissed another person in like six years. And it was … a lot,” she explained in her private interview. “I’m just not ready,” she later told her twin sister who set up the blind date. Brie has been trying to get her sister back into the swing of dating and admitted, “I’m happy you at least tried. So, there’s hope.”

Nikki gushed that Peter is “a great catch,” but she seemed a bit unsure about him. They didn’t take their relationship to a physical level but there seems to still be sparks between the adorable reality pairing. Later in the video, the Total Divas star received a package from the former Bachelorette contestant filled with black licorice. “Because Peter didn’t bring my favorite licorice last time, he shipped out every type of brand of black licorice to me. That was just the cutest sweetest thing ever.”

Is it just us or is Peter starting to charm the pro athlete? “Like, I have to give it to Peter, he’s really smooth,” Nikki said, looking impressed. The way to a woman’s heart is through her taste in candy.
