Heidi Klum and Seal End Their Seven-Year Marriage

HEIDI_KLUM_SEALA.jpgThey were one of Hollywood's most beloved couples, but after seven years, supermodel Heidi Klum, 38, and singer Seal, 48, have decided to end their marriage.

Famous for renewing their vows every year, the superstar couple admitted to Life & Style in a shocking announcement that they've filed for a legal separation:

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."

Just two months before this big news, Heidi spoke with Life & Style about being married in Hollywood.

"I think everywhere is the same; people think Hollywood is so different, but it's the same all around the world," she said.

"We are just in the public eye so people see our job, but when we come home from our job, we are just like other people who cook and do normal things at home," she said when asked about traveling and being apart so much.

After revving up a relationship in early 2004, the duo became in engaged that December. Five months later, they were married on a beach in Mexico. They have three biological children together: sons Henry, 6, and Johan, 5, and one daughter Lou, 2. Seal adopted Heidi's first daughter, Leni, 7, from a previous relationship, in 2009.
