Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley Held Hands Hours Before ‘Jersey Shore’ Star’s Arrest
Jersey Shore’s Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was arrested on Friday, October 4, after he allegedly attacked on-and-off girlfriend Jen Harley, Life & Style can confirm. However, hours before the arrest, he was seen kissing the 32-year-old.
The 33-year-old was taken under custody for domestic violence. According to Life & Style, a taser had to be used and there was a child present at the scene, which could have been Ronnie and Jen’s 17-month-old daughter, Ariana Sky. Fortunately, the child was unharmed, authorities told the outlet.
“He hasn’t officially been booked but I can tell you that officers responded to a battery in progress in the 7200 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive at around 2:40 a.m. Suspect and victim were involved in some kind of physical altercation,” LAPD told Life & Style. “When officers on location, the suspect was uncooperative. Officers had to use a taser so there was minor use of force that occurred.”
Hours before Ronnie was arrested, he and Jen were nothing but smiles. The pair attended the launch of Verge CBD in Los Angeles and were photographed acting silly and affectionate with each other.
Ronnie and Jen became romantically linked in July 2017, which was around the same time it was rumored that she was the mystery person who threw a bottle at him at a TAO nightclub in Las Vegas. Ever since then, it’s been a rollercoaster ride for the two.
In September, they called it quits after Jen claimed he was cheating on her. The mom of two took to her Instagram Story to slam the reality star. “Is this love?? Or is this a mistake? This is Ron this weekend with another girl again,” she captioned a photo of him with his arms around another woman. But it seems like they were able to work things out afterward.
In July, Jen was on social media preaching about forgiving your significant other. “Most ppl [don’t] want to hear this, but real relationships that last involve a lot of forgiveness,” she shared on her Instagram Story, reposting a quote from an account called @okay.qween. “You have to accept the fact that your partner [isn’t] perfect & will hurt you, disappoint you, & upset you. You have to figure out if you’re willing to go thru ups & downs with them.” We wish them the best.
