Clearing the air! Hailey Baldwin may have just revealed why she’s previously had some very sus Instagram behavior, specifically viewing and liking Selena Gomez fan accounts. Fans of Justin Bieber have previously called out the couple after spotting some ~interesting~ things regarding his ex on the social media platform. The model confessed that she’s been accidentally viewing people’s accounts who she doesn’t know — and no one should read too much into it.

“Why do random stories show up on ur [sic] popular page?” the 22-year-old inquired in a typed message on her Instagram Story on October 16. “People probably think I’m a weirdo viewing their story. I promise you it’s not on purpose!!”

The blonde beauty and popstar have been called out by eagle-eyed fans in the past. Just to name a few: Selena, 27, was a recommended account to follow for Justin, 25, and a video of the “Taki, Taki” artist singing at Coachella was seen in his browser history. Last year, the model even accidentally followed (the unfollowed) a Selena fan account, which was high-key awkward.

However, even the person who ran the page advised haters to back off of the newly minted Mrs. Bieber. “So, Hailey DM’d me. Y’all should stop blaming her for ‘stalking Selena’ and stuff like that. She seems nice and sweet,” the account admin wrote at the time.

Despite a few bumps along the way, Justin and Hailey seem to be in a great place these days. They just walked down the aisle during a gorgeous South Carolina wedding ceremony, one year after legally getting married at the courthouse. The New York native divulged that the two have finally found what works for them.

“Look, marriage is always going to be hard and I think good relationships are the relationships that you put the work into,” Hailey told Australian Vogue in an interview published on September 15. “I had never lived with someone before. I never had to cohabitate with somebody in that way, so I was learning how to share space with someone for the first time. We were trying to bend in each other’s direction and learn what was comfortable.”

She added, “Now it’s easier because we’ve found a rhythm. We have more fun together, which is what should happen when you spend more time with someone you love.”

We hope Hailey figures out her Insta soon!
