BFFs! After Annaliese Puccini confronted Angela Amezcua’s ex-boyfriend Clay Harbor on the Tuesday, August 6, episode of Bachelor in Paradise, Angela was so appreciative to have Annaliese in her life. “Ride or die,” the 29-year-old brunette beauty captioned a couple of photos of the two of them together on Instagram on August 6 — right after the show aired. “You’re a real one, @annaliesep. The End. #WomenSupportingWomen #TrueFriend.”

Annaliese, 34, also shared a cute snap on social media. “I got her back!” she wrote that same day. “#BachelorinParadise #Bachelor #ABC #Love #Drama #Grateful @bachelorinparadise @bachelorabc @abcnetwork.”

Of course, viewers couldn’t help but weigh in on the situation in the comments section. One person wrote, “Girl, you are too gorgeous for Clay. Annaliese has your back. You will get your stud,” while another echoed, “Angela, you’re sooo gorg. He’s crazy for letting a catch go.” A third person chimed in, writing, “I love seeing two women support each other. We need more of this in the world.”

Angela and Clay, 32, were set up by Chris Randone — another Paradise alum — but unfortunately, the former flames called it quits in April after eight months together. At the time, it seemed like they were super serious, but the athlete cleared up how he was feeling while speaking to Nicole Lopez-Alvar. “In my whole relationship, I never said I love you,” he admitted. “I never said it, no. I care about her a lot and stuff. But I mean, to me, that is a really strong word. If I love you, you’re my wife.”

But Annaliese decided to confront Clay about his decision to go on the ABC show. “He is going to marry her, but he needs to figure himself out,” she said in her confessional. “Jumping into a relationship in Paradise is not where you find yourself.”

Then, the California native approached Clay and bluntly asked him why he came to Mexico. “I am friends with Angela. My biggest issue is, you know, how much you’re literally crushing her being here,” she said. “I don’t know how you can even walk onto the beach. You guys were looking at houses, talking about babies.”

But the handsome hunk set the record straight. “We broke up three months ago. We had a discussion,” he said. “Honestly, you have very falsified information. Me and Angela have been done for months, and I am looking forward to building a relationship. What reasons do you think I am here for?”

Later on, Clay asked Nicole out on a date, and it seemed like they hit it off right away. During dinner, the Chicago native confessed why his previous relationship didn’t work out. “Sometimes it’s hard, but I think it’s better than staying in something you don’t think is going to work in the long run,” he said. “I am 100 percent over it. If I wasn’t over it, I wouldn’t be here.”

During a YouTube video, one fan asked Angela how to get over an ex. “Be OK that you guys didn’t work out. God has a plan. He has a path for you,” she said. “It’s OK if people don’t work out, you weren’t meant to be. You need to be happy and content with yourself before you can make somebody else be happy. Be proud of who you are and stand by it because the right man is going to love you for you.”

Preach, girl! Your happily ending will come along sooner than you think.
