OMGSomeone Photoshopped Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Together As Teens and It’s Literally Too Cute
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton may seem like two giggly, lovey-dovey teenagers when they’re together, but that doesn’t change the fact that they didn’t meet until they were adults. The beautiful 49-year old punk rocker and 42-year-old country crooner only began dating two and a half years ago in 2016, but thanks to the magic of Photoshop, Gwen was able to share a sweet photo of them together as high school sweethearts on March 21!
Gwen posted the goofy pic with nothing but a heart emoji and her boyfriend’s tag as the caption. It’s obvious that it’s a Photoshop job since you can see weird lines around Blake’s head, but it’s still pretty darn convincing at first glance. Gwen was so obsessed that she reposted it from a fan account and Blake obviously loves it too, since he quickly made the pic his Instagram profile picture!
Though the idea of seeing Blake and Gwen together as kids is super cute, the pic didn’t fool many of their fans. “That’s hilarious!!! 😂😂❤️” said one loving follower. “Haha … best photoshopped picture ever!!!! 😄😄” another agreed. A third said, “Meanwhile in another dimension 😆😽.”
Hilariously, not all of Gwen’s fans were as astute. “Oh look wasn’t that when he was with his first wife?” asked one. Another sweet, but clueless fan, wrote, “Whatttt!? You guys were friends back then too!?!??” “Omg I died thinking they’ve known each other all along. 😂🙄,” said another who eventually figured it out.
High school sweethearts or not, Gwen and Blake are still one of Hollywood’s cutest couples. The pair seems to spend all of their time together, whether it’s hanging out with Gwen’s boys or enjoying a stroll through the city. It sounds like they may be thinking about taking the next step soon as well! In January, a source reportedly told Us Weekly that the duo is going to announce their engagement “very soon.” We can only cross our fingers and hope!
