Kanye West is incredibly grateful for his girlfriend and baby mama, Kim Kardashian.
In a new interview with BBC Radio 1 personality Zane Lowe, the rapper gushes about his leading lady, with whom he welcomed daughter North in June.
“It’s like family time. That’s what Kim gave me,” he shared. “She gave me everything, she gave me family, she gave me a support system.”

He continued, “She was in a powerful enough situation where she could love me without me asking for money, which is really hard for me to find.”
He also discussed his issues with the paparazzi and insisted he’s going to find a way to change the laws all for his baby girl.
“I'm going to tell my daughter, by the time she understands what it was, 'Man, me and your mother were in a completely different situation than you're in,'" he explained. "People could take pictures, people could climb over your fence, and you wouldn't even get paid for it. You see all these checks that you getting at age 6 because people are taking your picture?...I made that happen, Nori. That's what I'm going to tell her."
Kanye is currently being sued by a paparazzo following an alleged airport attack over the summer. On Monday, he followed a response, claiming he acted in self-defense.

But Kanye’s over-the-top personality was still there during the hour-long sit-down chat — he even named himself the “No. 1 rock star on the planet.”
“Rap is the new rock ‘n’ roll,” the 36-year-old musician said. “We the new rock stars, and I’m the biggest of all of them. I’m the No. 1 rock star on the planet.”
