If you thought Bachelorette contestant Garrett liking racist tweets was bad, and if you thought Leo doing softcore porn was bad, you better brace yourself for some real drama. On June 13, it was revealed that Lincoln Adim, who was previously known for being the floor-pooper and rubbing some of the other contestants the wrong way, is a convicted felon. The 26-year-old vying for Becca Kufrin‘s heart is currently on probation for indecent assault and battery — yes, that’s a sex crime.

Life & Style exclusively obtained Lincoln’s mugshot, and a full report from the incident. Lincoln was on a Spirit of Boston harbor cruise ship when he drunkenly began touching a fellow guest. “Adim was grabbing her hand and placing it on his chest and belly, asking her ‘do you like that,'” said the report. “Further, she stated Adim had come up behind her, put his arm around her and began ‘grinding’ on her. [She] further stated Adim had grabbed her chest. Despite asking Adim to stop and attempting to push him away numerous times, [she] stated Adim would not let her go.” Two other patons confirmed the victim’s statement to police, and he was “placed under arrest for 265-13H/Indecent Assault and Battery on a Person over 14.”

Lincoln Adim’s Mugshot.

The assault happened back in 2016, and Reality Steve first broke the news after a fan tipped him off that Lincoln had been in court on Monday, June 11. Former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey contacted the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts, and Press Secretary Jake Wark got back to her with all of the deets.

“Mr. Adim was convicted on May 21, 2018 of indecent assault and battery for groping and assaulting an adult female on a harbor cruise ship early on May 30, 2016,” he explained. “He was sentenced to one year in a house of correction, with that term suspended for a two-year probationary period.” Mr. Wark also said that the judge ordered Lincoln to stay away from the victim, and to go to three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings every week for the next two years while on probation. If Lincoln does anything else wrong or doesn’t stick to the plan, he’ll have to serve a year in prison! Lincoln will also likely have to register as a sex offender, though the docs obtained by Life & Style show he has asked to be allowed not to do that.

Lincoln Adim on ‘The Bachelorette’.

Even though he wasn’t convicted until after the season was shot, Ashley pointed out that since Lincoln’s felony case was pending, the Bachelorette producers should have been able to see the concerning charges in a background check. Fans have already criticized the show’s vetting process for contestants after Garrett’s scandal, so this doesn’t bode well.

For their part, producers of the show released this statement: “No one on the Bachelorette production had any knowledge about the incident or charges when Lincoln Adim was cast, and he himself denied ever having engaged in or been charged with any sexual misconduct. We employ a well- respected and highly experienced third party who has done thousands of background checks consistent with industry standards to do a nationwide background check in this case. The report we received did not reference any incident or charge relating to the recent conviction – or any other charges relating to sexual misconduct. We are currently investigating why the report did not contain this information.”
