Lex Briscuso couldn’t stop giving everyone her opinion, so instead of totally silencing the voices in her head, she became a writer. Turns out, it’s working pretty well. As staff writer for Life & Style, she gets to divulge and dish on her favorite Bravo stars and A-listers on topics ranging from body positivity and fashion to fitness. Of course, there’s a little (OK, a lot) of celeb gossip thrown in there for good measure. She loves a good interview and has done several here with the brand — including chats with Sonja Morgan, La La Anthony, and Ramona Singer. And of course, she hopes one day to tell Kourtney Kardashian, to her face, that she is the superior sister.
Work or writing background leading to expertise
Lex started with Life & Style in November 2018, with her main focuses being Real Housewives and Kar-Jenner news — but you can also catch her curating fashion roundups and writing about astrology. She was the brain behind the brand’s Best and Worst Dressed recaps for the 2018-2019 awards season, including the star-studded Met Gala. And yes, she is quoted by name on Countess Luann de Lesseps‘ website — you’re not just seeing things.
Lex was an acting and playwriting major at Marymount Manhattan College in NYC. She graduated on the dean’s list in 2014.
Though this is Lex’s first full-time gig at a digital publication, her poetry and fiction can be read on Killer and a Sweet Thang, Queen Mob’s Teahouse, Vagabond City Lit, and Noble/Gas Quarterly, with her first chapbook forthcoming. Her radio show, “Your Niche is Dead,” is every Monday, 4pm EST on KPISSFM.
