Ayesha Curry’s 10-Month-Old Son Was Legit Body-Shamed on Social Media and She (Rightfully) Shut Them Down
Um, no. Ayesha Curry slammed a troll on social media who made a rude comment about her 10-month-old baby‘s weight. The internet truly knows no bounds. The cookbook author is never afraid to shut down haters and the latest incident is no exception.
“Infinitely proud of these guys,” the 30-year-old captioned a group photo on Wednesday, May 22, on Instagram that included her husband, Stephen Curry, and their three kids — Riley, 6, Ryan, 3, and Canon, 10 months. “Gods grace and mercy continues to cover our family and we are so grateful. Not about wins and losses, it’s all about family. Moments like this simply put it all into perspective. ‘But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.’ – Matthew 6:33.”
The Canadian beauty was all smiles while surrounded by her inner-circle. Eagle-eyed fans took note of the way Ayesha was standing which prompted someone to ask, “Are you pregnant again??” While this could be taken negatively, the restauranteur responded lightly, “Absolutely not LOL. My 30 [pound] son is just breaking my back in every photo.”
Upon hearing the weight of her youngest child, some people inserted their opinions. “30lbs at 10months?? Sheesh,” one person wrote while someone else added, “30 lbs?!?!? He’s bigger than my 19-month-old nephew.” However, the (now-deleted) comment that put her over the edge read, “Maybe portion control his food a bit.” The mom-of-three snapped back, “Excuse you? No. Just no.”
It’s clear that the basketball wife can manage trolls on her own but many fans rallied to support her. “My 1st son weighed 30lbs at 9 months! Breastfed baby! Healthy and will be a tall boy … You’re a great mom,” one person shared. “Ugh these rude people!!! I’m sorry you have to deal with these insecure, unhappy people!!!” another user added. Someone else gushed, “I love juicy babies. Too cute!!”
There’s no denying that Ayesha and Steph have three of the cutest kids ever. Keep slaying, girl!
