Popular content creator and beauty guru James Charles took to his YouTube channel on Tuesday, June 18, to share his very first vlog/makeup tutorial since his epic feud with ex-BFF Tati Westbrook went down. “HI SISTERS! Welcome back to my channel, it’s been a while,” James, 20, captioned the nearly 30-minute clip.

“Today’s video is a chit-chat get ready with me. I talk about what I’ve been doing for the past month during my social media break and also show you how to create a dripping rainbow pride makeup look. I really hope you enjoy, I’m so excited to be back.” Unsurprisingly, James’ return has been a major (and we mean *major*) success. As it stands, the post is currently trending No. 1 on YouTube with over three million views.

So, what does the video include? Well, in addition to James’ stunning rainbow glam, the Morphe partner included some vlog footage that he took during his hiatus. However, the most amazing aspect of James’ video was his mention of The Trevor Project. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the organization, they assist members of the LGBTQIA+ community with crisis intervention and suicide prevention.

All of the money James makes from his “Hi Sisters” video will be donated to them, as well as a portion of the funds he receives from an upcoming Sisters Apparel project. How amazing is that? “This is the kind of unproblematic pride content I subscribed for,” one user commented. “We missed you so much! Love you, baby. Amazing video … as always,” added another.

Despite all of the negativity that took place on the internet following Tati’s accusations of James — including backlash from fellow YouTubers like Jeffree Star and Tana Mongeau — it seems as though he’s back and better than ever. Keep thriving and doing what you love most, sister!
