OMGBethenny Frankel Says She Felt Her Late BF Dennis Shields ‘Pulling’ at Her During Near-Fatal Allergy Scare
She felt him. Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel got real about a spooky experience with her late boyfriend, Dennis Shields, just after she had a near-fatal allergy scare in December 2018. The 48-year-old Skinnygirl maven revealed the incident to her driver and bodyguard, Abi, during the June 27 season finale of the show.
“When I was going to the emergency room, like, in the middle of all the craziness, I felt Dennis pulling at me,” she told her confidant. “I didn’t think it, I felt it, I felt that he was pulling me. Do you believe in things like that?”
The Bravo star continued by stating that, despite the interesting event, she is doing what she can to put her ex out of her head. “But now, I’m done with him,” she said. “I talk about him too much. I bring him up, I bring up his sayings, I bring up everything. I’m done. It’s over. That is over. Let me be. You go be where you are, and I’m gonna stay here.”
From there, the scene then cut to a confessional where Bethenny explained that getting on with her life is exactly what her late love would have wanted for her. So touching.
“I’ll always love Dennis, I talk about him, I think about him every single day, but he always wanted me to be happy, ultimately,” she revealed. “He would always say to me, ‘You will find someone who will love you and treat you the way that you deserve to be treated.’ So, it was some sort of closure with Dennis. I’m not going with you.”
Dennis was found dead at 51 in his hotel room at the NYC Trump Tower on August 10, 2018. The New York Post originally reported businessman overdosed on prescription pills, but his cause of death is still unknown. An autopsy was rejected due to religious reasons.
