Blake Shelton might be moving on with new girlfriend Gwen Stefani, but his ex Miranda Lambert is still in the back of his mind.
The country crooner was promoting his new album, If I'm Honest, during a release party Monday when he opened up about the song, "I Bet You Still Think About Me."
"It's basically what it sounds like," the 39-year-old said. "At some point whether you go through a divorce or a breakup or whatever, once you get past the anger and the frustration of it all, you kind of go into the sad part of it where it's just like, 'Gosh, how come that didn't work out?'"
"And that's what this song is about," he continued. "'Even though stuff didn't work out, I bet you miss me a little bit.' It's a sad song."
While he doesn't say Miranda's name directly, there's no doubting who the "Sangria" singer is referring to.
However, Blake's focus was back on Gwen by the end of the party, performing his new duet, "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," with the mother-of-three, telling her, "I only started this song to try to impress you."
"It worked," she adorably replied.
