Parents to Be! Which Celebrities Announced Pregnancies, Babies on the Way in 2024

Fans of Seeking Sister Wife saw Dannielle announce that she was pregnant with baby No. 3 on the April 22 episode. The next day, she and husband Garrick shocked the world with the news that they had already welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Leia Lilly Melisa Merrifield, on May 17, 2023. “Leia is such a personality. She is very particular with what she likes and doesn’t like,” they told People. “She makes us all laugh. She is super independent and has been since birth. I prayed she would have her daddy’s beautiful blue eyes and she does.”

Ashanti and Nelly

Ashanti shared a hilarious video announcing her pregnancy on April 17.

“Baby baby baby baby….” she captioned the post.

This is the first child for longtime couple, while Nelly shares two kids with ex Channetta Valentine and adopted his sister’s two children after her death in 2005.

Henry shared the exciting news of girlfriend Natalie’s pregnancy on the red carpet at the premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare on April 15.

“I’m very excited about it,” he told Access Hollywood. “Natalie and I are both very excited. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that.” When the outlet’s reporter assured the actor that he was going to be a “great dad,” he replied, “Thank you. I appreciate that.”

“We were both in shock, but he has been incredible,” the Bravo star gushed. “I literally went into the urgent care for something totally unrelated that I thought was wrong and the doctor came in and was like, ‘You’re pregnant.’ I’m like, ‘I’m 39! Like, there’s no way. I’m on birth control.’”

Francesca Farago and Jesse Sullivan announced on March 31, 2024, that they were expanding their family. Their little one will join Jesse’s 15-year-old child, Arlo, from a previous relationship.

The engaged couple purposely decided to announce the news on Transgender Day of Visibility. Jesse came out as transgender in 2019.

Ashley Tisdale announced that she and husband Christopher French are expecting baby No. 2 on March 26. “We can’t wait to meet you,” the “Be Good to Me” singer wrote via Instagram alongside several photos that showed off her baby bump.

Just three months after Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker tied the knot in December 2023, she confirmed that they were expecting baby No.1 together. The former Disney star announced her pregnancy by debuting a baby bump on the 2024 Oscars red carpet on March 10. She wore a black dress that hugged her growing belly as she posed for photos.

Lala Kent made her pregnancy announcement via Instagram on March 3. “I’m expanding my pod,” the Bravo star wrote on the social media site. She also shared a sweet photo of her daughter, Ocean, lovingly gazing at mom’s bare baby bump.

The Hulu star didn’t mention how far along she was in her pregnancy but said things had been “going really well” and that she felt “really lucky.”

Love Is Blind stars Alexa Lemieux and Brennon Lemieux announced they’re expecting their first child ​in the summer. Alexa admitted their pregnancy journey hadn’t been easy and revealed ​that at one point she feared that she and Brennon might not be able to have children at all. However, the pair’s dream finally came true.

While the couple already knows the sex of the baby, they have yet to share it with anyone else.

“We found out as soon as I hit my 10 weeks. I was there to get my blood work,” Alexa told People in a January 26 interview. “But we’re waiting to share all of that … we had a nice little moment with us two to find out, and then we’re just going to share it with everybody else next week.”

She added that her pregnancy has been “smooth sailing” and she hasn’t had to deal with any nausea. “I’ve just been just trekking away as usual,” Aly continued. “I have to drink a lot more water and eat a lot more protein than I’ve had to in the past, which has been a struggle for me. But I’m trying to do it daily and be on top of it.”

The Bachelor in Paradise alums announced on January 22 that they’re expecting baby No. 2. The couple, who wed in 2019, already have a son, Dawson, whom they welcomed in January 2022.

The HGTV star and his wife used a photo of their son, Parker, touching Linda’s prominent baby bump to reveal their second child was on the way. “Round 2. I hope Parker’s ready for a lil company,” Drew shared in a January 21 Instagram post.

The Step Up star revealed she has baby No. 2 on the way with her fiancé in a sweet Instagram video on January 17, as she showed off her pregnant bare belly while taking a bubble bath. The couple welcomed their first child, son Callum, in March 2020. Jenna and ex-husband Channing Tatum also share a daughter, Everly, who was born in May 2013.

Sarah Herron and Dylan Brown

The Bachelor alum announced her pregnancy news by revealing she’s expecting twins with husband Dylan in a January 4 Instagram post. She referenced their son, Oliver, who died when he was born at just 24 weeks in January 2023, when sharing the announcement, telling fans, “Oliver has 2 turtles to watch over,” as she snorkeled with a sea turtle then shared sonogram photos.
