Travis Barker is best known as the drummer of Blink-182, a California-based pop-punk band he joined in 1998 after the group released their second album, Dude Ranch. His first record with the group, Enema of State, was released the following year and garnered widespread commercial success. The album’s lead single, “All the Small Things,” peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The same year, the west coast native started his clothing company, Famous Stars and Straps.

Two years later, the band’s fourth album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, was released to near-instant acclaim in 2001. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts and went triple platinum within three weeks of its release. In 2002, Travis married girlfriend Melissa Kennedy, but they split after just nine months together. Shortly after, he began dating former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, with whom he had two children, son Landon and daughter Alabama. They got married in October 2004.

The former flames and their children starred in an MTV reality series called Meet the Barkers from April 2005 to February 2006. Travis and Shanna divorced shortly after the show went off-air. In September 2008, the musician was a victim of a tragic plane crash that killed four people. He and friend DJ AM were the only survivors, but the Pennsylvania native died a year later.

He has gone on to collaborate with acts such as Machine Gun Kelly, The Transplants, Willow Smith and Blink-182 side projects +44 and Box Car Racer. Travis sparked romance rumors with Kourtney in January 2021, and the neighbors-turned-lovers made their relationship Instagram official less than a month later.
