Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are officially divorcing after 10 years of marriage.
The couple released a joint statement on June 30, one day after their wedding anniversary, confirming the separation.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the duo tells People magazine. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

As Life & Style previously reported, the actors' marriage has been in trouble for quite some time. “She can’t take it anymore,” an insider told Life & Style earlier this month. “She’s been consulting with a high-profile divorce lawyer.”
At the end of May, a friend of Jen's told Life & Style, "They're leading separate lives and Jen's at her breaking point. She's very good at keeping it all together, but she could snap at any time."
The two initially met on the set of their 2003 film, Daredevil. They married on June 29, 2005, in a private ceremony with only one witness present. Jennifer was previously married to actor Scott Foley from 2000 to 2004 while Ben was formerly engaged to Jennifer Lopez.
