Following her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair, Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, is opening up about her 23-year marriage to momager Kris Jenner.
"The first 15 years I felt she needed me more because I was the breadwinner," she admits to the mag.

"Then really around the show [Keeping Up With the Kardashians], when that hit and she was running the whole show and getting credit for it and she had her own money, she didn't need me as much from that standpoint ... I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me."

The 65-year-old former Olympian continues, "A lot of times she wasn't very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money, all that kind of stuff."
But Kris tells an entirely different story. "He was married to me and he wasn't who he wanted to be so he was miserable," the 59-year-old tells Vanity Fair. "All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was pissed off."

She adds, "At the end of my relationship with Bruce he definitely had a lot of social anxiety … That was one of the reasons we were in a struggle at the end."
Caitlyn claims that Kris was fully aware that "Bruce" was taking hormones in the late 1980s and had developed a "good solid B cup" because of it.

Kris, on the other hand, states that she didn't fully understand Caitlyn's gender issues and simply thought there was a "little bit of a man boob situation" going on.
But Caitlyn insists it wasn't her gender that ultimately separated them. "Twenty percent was gender and 80 percent was the way I was treated," she confesses.
The new issue of Vanity Fair hits newsstands on June 9.
