The combination of a fuchsia hue, gathered fabric and asymmetrical neckline could overwhelm the most statuesque physique, but Jessica Biel came up with a great solution. By adding a wide cincher to her Oscar de la Renta gown, she creates a flattering focal point that reins in all that fabric. Spanish singer Natalia Jimenez is gorgeous, but her slim frame is totally swallowed up by the poufy cut.

4) AnnaLynne McCord adds serious interest to a low-key look with a textured Jenny B animal-print tee. The 90210 star layers one of the labels semisheer tops over a solid cami. Jenny B Clothing Animal Burnout, $35, jennybclothing.com

Cuffs 101: Less is more when it comes to cuffs, say styling duo Kemal Harris and Karla Welch. You can pile on bracelets, but with cuffs it's best to go for a single statement. Diane Kruger, left, gets the look right - iridescent blue stone pop against her red frock.

Fun circular scarves are the season's biggest trend, but they work best in chunky, colorful knits that add soft volume - and a super-cozy feel - to your outfit. Wrap one around your neck twice like Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr. Remember: Loops should be different sizes for a multilayered style.

Longtime celebrity stylist Jennifer Rade is the secret weapon behind Angelina Jolie's red-carpet magic. The self-proclaimed Wicked Witch of Wardrobe has dressed Jolie for years, helping catapult the actress to style-icon status. Rade shares her tried-and-true tips for looking chic on any budget.
"Fall is a good time to look over your wardrobe and get rid of pieces you're not going to wear." A great rule of thumb: If you haven't worn something in a year, chances are you never will!
"Have a tailor alter your clothes to fit," she says. "Tailoring can make inexpensive items look expensive."
Rade's latest must-have? "I love J Brand jeans," she says. And so do A-listers like Gwen Stefani and Halle Berry. The hot skinny styles look like jeans and feel like leggings: "They're the most comfortable things on the planet," says the stylist.

The French label Vionnet is making a comeback, and this exquisitely draped dress proves why! We love that An Education's Carey Mulligan went for a bold color and brooch, but the hemline's awkward. The teal hue and floor-length hem of Hilary Swank's version lets the masterful design speak for itself.

No matter which member of the animal kingdom you choose (cheetah, leopard or tiger, oh my!), animal-print handbags add a hint of danger to your look. And stars know it: They're using patterned clutches and bags to vamp up LBDs and everyday basics. Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr makes her leopard bag daytime-appropriate by pairing it with jeans and a solid jacket. And a leopard print clutch is an eye-catching addition to Katharine McPhee's chic all-black look. But don't forget to use your instincts - stick to one animal-print piece at a time.

Think baggier is better when it comes to curvy shapes? No way, says stylist Jamee Gidwitz: "Jackets should be nipped in at the waist or fitted at the shoulders to create new narrow focal points." Removable belts are great too because they can be adjusted to fit your frame. We love how the belt on Blake Lively's jacket shows off the smallest part of her body: her waist!
