Unfortunately for Sofia Vergara, it doesn't look like the court case regarding her frozen embryos is going in her favor.
Life & Style has learned that the actress' request to have the case dismissed was denied, which means it will move forward and most likely play out in court.
Today could have been a turning point for Sofia in court had her request been granted. It would have meant that former fiancé, Nick Loeb, would've been forced to give up on his battle to bring the embryos that the former couple had created together, through in vitro fertilization, to full term.

The 39-year-old claimed an op-ed for the 'New York Times', " A woman is entitled to bring a pregnancy to term even if the man objects. Shouldn't a man who is willing to take on all parental responsibilities be similarly entitled to bring his embryos to term even if the woman objects."

The 42-year-old bombshell argued on Howard Stern's radio show, "[He] signed papers, legal papers, and if it was so serious for him, this issue — which I totally respect it is serious for someone — then you should have taken it more serious at the time like I did."
