Just hours after Justin Bieber’s lawyers entered a written plea of not guilty to the charges he incurred in Miami last week, he has been arrested again.
The 19-year-old singer turned himself in to Toronto Police and was charged with assault related to a confrontation with a limo driver on Dec. 30, when the victim picked up Justin and five friends from a nightclub.

While en route to the hotel, one of the six passengers hit the driver in the back of the head several times; while police were called to the scene, the man who struck the driver left before the police arrived.
Upon turning himself in tonight, Justin was charged and left the station within two hours. He is set to appear in court for these charges on March 10.

The arrest comes exactly one week after the troubled singer was arrested in Miami for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license.
Because of Justin’s recent illicit behavior, American citizens have created a petition on the White House’s citizen portal, We The People, urging the national government to deport the singer and revoke his green card.
As of Jan. 29, the signature has earned more than 165,000 signatures—meaning that the White House will be forced to comment on Justin’s standing in the States.
