Paul Walker can rest peacefully knowing his family and ex-girlfriend have reached an agreement regarding his teen daughter, Meadow.
The late actor’s mother, Cheryl, filed paperwork March 20 seeking guardianship of the 15-year-old, who stands to inherit her father’s multi-million dollar estate.
She claimed Meadow’s mom, Rebecca Soteros, Paul’s ex-girlfriend, is an “alcoholic” who is incapable of properly raising the young girl.

The 41-year-old, who passed away in a car accident from speeding on Nov. 30, requested his parents seek custody of his child if anything were to ever happen to him.
The two women, who were supposed to meet March 27, came to a mutual agreement before heading to court yesterday.
"As a result of a family meeting [Wednesday], an agreement has been made between the parties and attorneys in the case," a source says. "The good news is that things are getting better for everyone involved.

“Meadow will live with her mother and they will be getting a place [in California] and the agreement does involve both the guardianship and estate issues,” the source explains.
E! News reports Cheryl will not “gain any control,” and Meadow is said to be “happy” with the outcome.
No further details surrounding the agreement are available.
Earlier this week, an insider told E! that Cheryl’s claims about Rebecca’s sobriety and parenting were completely exaggerated.

"It's just crazy how people blow things out of proportion. She doesn't have a problem or a serious drinking problem," the insider said. "Rebecca is a great mother and Meadow is a very happy child."
Despite the insider’s claims, Paul’s ex does have a DUI from 2003 under her belt and a second one pending.
She has a hearing scheduled for May 2 in Hawaii.
