Bride-to-be Tina Nguyen was just four months away from her wedding and anxiously awaiting the day that she got to wear her gorgeous white gown and walk down the aisle. But little did she know, the next place she'd wear that beautiful dress would be in a coffin.
The 37-year-old was killed on St. Patrick's Day after being struck in the head with a half-inch piece of flying plywood in Manhattan during 40 mph winds, according to the 'New York Daily News.'
Nearly 200 people gathered for Tina's funeral, including her fiancé Alex Beitler, who was uncontrollably sobbing.
To accompany Tina, who was laid to rest in her wedding dress, her bridesmaids wore their long yellow gowns that they had planned to wear on the couple's special day in July of 2015.
“We grieve that we will not see her walk down the aisle to marry her perfect mate, Alex,” her family said in a statement. “The world is a dimmer place without her.”
