Jason Aldean and his wife Jessica Ussery are officially calling it quits.According to court documents, Jason filed for divorce just seven months after he was caught cheating with former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr. The pair were photographed making out at a bar in LA in September.After reports that the country music star and his wife were separating, his rep admitted the pair were facing personal woes.
“Jason and his wife are having problems. But there is nothing more to share with the press at this time. It’s a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way.”
Following the September scandal, Jason, 36, took to Twitter to issue a lengthy public apology.

"The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that's the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself," he wrote.He continued, "I'm not perfect, and I'm sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support."Although admitting, "It hasn't always been roses," the "My Kinda Party" singer seemed optimistic about his relationship with his wife of 11 years in November."I think we're fine. I think anytime you go through anything like that—I mean, it's tough," the country crooner told CBS This Morning. "We've been together for a long time and through a lot of things together. Those are things that most people get to deal with in private, but we didn't have the luxury of doing that."Jason and Jessica were high school sweethearts and have been married since August 2001. They have two children; daughters Keeley, 10 and Kendyl, 5.
