Tina Fey and Amy Poehler may have impressed viewers and critics with their Golden Globes co-hosting gig in January, but don’t expect Tina to make the move to the Oscars.
While promoting her new flick Admission on Today, host Savannah Guthrie asks if she’d like to host the glamorous event.
“No! I’m happy to be able to say, ‘No, thank you!’ … It’s just so hard, it’s super hard," Tina replies, crushing dreams around the nation. "And for a woman, the number of dresses you have to try on and the amount of tricep dips, forget it!”N

Though Seth MacFarlane managed to get some laughs from the audience on Feb. 24, the possibility of having Tina and Amy together again next year for Hollywood’s biggest night would have been simply epic.
Perhaps the Bossypants author will change her mind come next year – especially since she’ll have some extra time on her hands. The 42-year-old star recently said goodbye to the hit NBC show 30 Rock after a successful seven season run.

Luckily, her two daughters Alice, 7, and Penelope, 1, with husband Jeff Richmond are keeping her busy.
“Children eat your time so beautifully,” she said. “(Not working) is OK because right now it just feels like we’re on hiatus.”

But she admits it will hit her when the fall comes around. “I think come September I’ll be wandering. I’ll just kind of be walking out there,” she pointed at the Today Plaza in NYC “in pajama pants and a coat going, ‘Where do I work?’”
And then maybe, just maybe, Tina will reconsider this Oscars talk?
