Mario Lopez is one of the busiest guys in Hollywood between his hosting gigs on Extra and The X Factor. But when it's time for the holidays, he'll be taking time off to spend with his family - under wife Courtney Lopez's strict orders!
"My wife is making me take the holidays off!" Mario revealed to Life & Style as he sipped on NESCAFE Dolce Gusto coffee at the NESCAFE Christmas Tree Lighting Event in LA. That means the whole Lopez clan, including daughter Gia and newborn son Dominic, will be heading to Mexico, where they have family, to celebrate Christmas. "We're not big tradition people other than we're just always around the family. I've got everything I want with my family, they're healthy. I feel really blessed. It's about the kids at Christmas."

However, don't think Mario's going to take too much time off. Despite the warm, beachy Christmas, it'll be back to work as Mario hosts the live New Year's Eve special for Fox in Las Vegas. So how does he balance work, fatherhood, and being a husband?
"I've got a very understanding wife, a very supportive wife and family. They get it. It's just action packed during the day. It's all about finding that balance and I'm fortunate enough to have found it. I'm very blessed."

And there's one other way that Mario makes sure he gets enough family time: "My family's with me all the time. Even if I travel. If it's longer than 3 days, they usually come with me."
40-year old Mario says that the happiest days of his life were the ones when his children were born, and he loves the experience of being a dad so much that he hopes to keep it going. "I want at least a few kids," he smiles.
