Lainie Kazan, the actress who played Nia Vardalos' mom in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and the film's 2016 sequel, has reportedly been hospitalized after a scary car accident over the weekend.
According to TMZ, the 75-year-old was driving in LA when her Lincoln SUV drifted into an oncoming lane and collided with another vehicle — in front of a Greek restaurant.
Sources say both Lainie and the other driver were both conscious after the crash, but as pictures from the scene show, a neck brace was placed on the star.
