Fit, fab, and FIERCE!

When Beyoncé performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in a barely there costume, everyone noticed just how fabulous she looked. And while Queen B is always stunning, she admits it wasn't easy getting her best body after baby — she gained nearly 60 pounds while pregnant with Blue Ivy.

"Y'all have no idea how hard I worked," she's said. "They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!"

But now the man behind her stunning figure, Marco Borges, tells Life & Style what he and the songstress had to do to get there.

"Consistency is the key to success," her trainer shares. "I love running-spring intervals for quick cardio sessions and also...running stairs." And that's exactly what he did with the "Single Ladies" singer. As for nutrition? He recommended at least "one vegan meal a day because this typically gets people to eat more greens than they normally would."

But that's not all! Check out Bey's get-fit tricks below:

Pump Up the Volume
Upper-body repetitions don't have to be boring. "I'll put on a song that I really like and do biceps curls with 5-pound weights for the whole song," says Beyoncé.

Liquid Lunch
Shes sworn off the Master Cleanse diet from her Dreamgirls days, but when Beyoncé needs to drop a few pounds quickly, for lunch she downs a protein shake instead of a sit-down meal.

Crunch Time
"If you have to snack, don't sacrifice nutrition," says Borges. When the star is craving a crunchy treat, instead of chips she reaches for edamame, a green apple or cucumbers sprinkled with vinegar, cayenne pepper and lemon.

Did you know: Bey's legs look so toned at the Super Bowl because of panty hose? "Under the fishnets, she wore four to six pairs of panty hose to pull her all in," an insider tells Life & Style.

"She is very aware if her body," Rubin Singer, who designed the hot get-up, tells Life & Style. "She knows what looks right and what doesn't."
