Leave it to Gwyneth Paltrow to fill a room with A-listers!
In celebration of her new cookbook, My Father's Daughter, Gwyneth Paltrow held an intimate dinner party in New York City on Monday, April 11, and Life & Style has all of the details!
"Multitasking pro Gwyneth Paltrow told guests she cooked the meal -- red roasted peppers and duck fat ragu -- the day before the party," a guest tells Life & Style. But not without help! "Hubby Chris Martin kept an eye on the kids so that Gwyneth could concentrate on her 60 special guests, including New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and girlfriend Cameron Diaz, Martha Stewart, Jerry Seinfeld and Christy Turlington."
"Blythe Danner, Gwyneth's mother, gave a beautiful toast," adds the insider. "She made a very moving speech about how Gwyneth was a true daddy's girl."
But not everybody came with a hearty appetite! While Gwyneth chatted with The Fabulous Beekman Boys' Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge about decadent recipes from their new cookbook, Heirloom Recipes from Beekman 1802, Cameron Diaz didn't eat a thing! "She didn't swallow a bite," says our insider. "No wonder she stays so skinny!"
