In recent years, beauty blogger Lara Eurdolian noticed that a lot of perfectly good products were being destroyed by beauty brands because they were no longer being sold in stores.
The editor of PrettyConnected.com and InHisClothes.com knew that a lot of women could benefit from those items, so she helped co-found the 'Share Your Beauty' program with the non-profit Family-to-Family, which collects new beauty and hygiene products and delivers them to shelters and teen centers in the NYC and tri-state area.

"The idea behind 'Share Your Beauty' is to encourage a more sustainable beauty industry and giving those with excess a place to donate while helping women who are homeless or victims of domestic violence to feel their best," Eurdolian wrote on her site.
Since the program launched a year ago, more than 32,000 products have been donated. They've also partnered with iconic company LeSportsac, who donates all of the bags used to distribute the items. Thanks for brightening up the lives of those less fortunate!
