‘FLOOD Magazine’ and Lyve, the app that has been helping SXSW goers view thousands of photos on their phone without using up all of their storage, hosted some of this week’s best performances at the first annual FLOODfest presented by Lyve at the Cedar Street Courtyard here at SXSW. Performers included The Ting Tings, Courtney Barnett, Britt Daniel of Spoon and many more!

Palladia Epic Awesome Showcase
Highlights from the show were filmed for broadcast on ‘VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live.’ Pop star Ingrid Michaelson was on hand as guest-host for a special SXSW episode of VH1’s Top 20 Video Countdown, counting down the week's top videos while featuring interviews with the stellar lineup from the Palladia showcase. This showcase was open to badge-holders, but was also well attended by artists, celebrities, media, VIP’s and tastemakers, including Peyton List, Mia Moretti and more.
SXSW Dreamville Takeover Showcase
New Era Cap presented the SXSW Dreamville Takeover Showcase with Grammy-nominated hip hop artist J. Cole, who closed out a fulfilling week of music events and concerts on Saturday, March 21. Cole kicked off his set with “Nobody’s Perfect” from his 2011 debut album. He also played a variety of songs from his 2014 album “Forest Hills Drive” and popular hits “Work Out,” “Can’t Get Enough” and “Crooked Smile.”
Neiman Marcus’ Make Some Noise
The second annual Make Some Noise brand platform activation celebrated women on the rise, women making a difference, and women shaking up the status quo to lead the way forward for their generation and all the ones to come. Rosario Dawson and Laura Dern were among the many stars to stop by and speak at the event.
Terrace at the W Austin
‘NYLON’ and The dFm with Original Penguin presented Terrace at the W Austin during music week at SXSW 2015. The event featured a media lounge by NYLONTV for artist interviews and live music showcases presented by CONNECT in partnership with ReverbNation showcasing some of the best up-and-coming talent. VIP guests were treated to engaging experiences with brands such as Flash Tattoos, SkullCandy, Gibson, Original Penguin, Pax Labs, Inc. and WeTransfer. The two-day event kicked off on Thursday with showcases from Cody Simpson, Zella Day, Holy Child, Tove Styrke, Safia, and Boytoy.
The Spotify House
How awesome was Spotify’s pop-up house at SXSW? Even the cast of ‘Veep’ attended! Julia Louis-Dreyfus and a couple of her co-stars were spotted enjoying an intimate dinner with ‘Marie Claire’ at the house. During the get together, guests shared laughs when ‘Veep’s’ Matt Walsh asked the Winklevoss twins to give a speech explaining exactly what Bitcoin was and how to use it.
