One early morning broadcast turned deadly on Wednesday when a gunman shot WDBJ-TV reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward dead while they filmed near Roanoke, Va.
Parker, 24, was conducting a live interview around 6:45 am when the shooter, identified as Bryce Williams (aka Vester Lee Flanagan), a former employee at WDBJ, fired at least eight shots at both her and Ward. The interviewee, Vicki Gardner, is currently in stable condition after being shot in the chest.
It is now being reported that Williams posted video of his attack on Twitter and Facebook before taking his own life. He allegedly claims that the shooting was in retaliation over Parker and Ward reporting him to human resources a year ago.

In video from the attack, Parker screams, then attempts to flee as Ward, 27, drops the camera. The feed then switches back to a shot of the newsroom anchor in a state of shock.
"OK, not sure what happened there. We will of course let you know as soon as we find out what those sounds were from," she says.
According to Gov. Terry McAuliffe, the suspect was being chased by police on a local interstate, calling his arrest "imminent."
Parker, who graduated from nearby James Madison University, had been the editor of her school's newspaper and had interned at WDBJ-TV before accepting a job there. Ward was a graduate of Virginia Tech and was engaged to a producer at the station.

"Adam was our go-to guy. He pretty much was available to do anything that we asked," Mike Morgan, the WDBJ spokesman, said. "He did live shots during our morning show for several years."
Twenty schools in the area were placed on lockdown as a precaution. The station remembered the victims with a heartbreaking tweet:
