When Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici revealed they set a date for their TV wedding on Monday, everyone in the Bachelor world was ecstatic for the couple.

But for Desiree Hartsock and fiancé Chris Siegfried, it wasn’t exactly the best news, because Life & Style has learned that they also want one — and now their own nuptials on the small screen have been postponed!

“Desiree wasn’t originally on board with the idea of having a TV wedding, but after she thought about it, she realized that this was the perfect opportunity to launch her dream career as a bridal designer,” an insider tells Life & Style. “What’s frustrating is that Sean and Catherine are also having one, so that means ABC will want to space them out.”

The source explains that Des had her heart set on a summer date, which wouldn’t cause much of an issue because Sean and Catherine are planning to tie the knot in January. But ABC allegedly explained to the brunette beauty, 27, that she might have to wait until fall because the sunny season isn’t exactly the best for ratings.

The Bachelor's Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici: We're Getting Married in January!

“She’s very upset about not being able to get married in the summer like she’s always dreamed, but she’s willing to make the sacrifice because she would marry Chris tomorrow if she could,” the insider explains. “She just wants to get married so bad, but still wants to be able to take advantage of having a TV wedding.”

One thing Des is especially looking forward to? Designing her wedding dress!

“She thinks it will be a great way to get her enough press to make a name for herself in bridal fashion once everyone sees how great of a designer she is,” the source tells Life & Style.

Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock Engaged to Chris Siegfried

Des said “yes” to Chris, a former professional baseball player, when he proposed to her on the season nine finale of The Bachelorette in August.

“Chris is the man I could love my entire life,” said Des, who first made her mark on reality TV when she vied for Sean’s heart on The Bachelor earlier this year. “Chris was always there, and I always was falling in love with him.”
