Nothing screams "I'll be single forever" like having a wedding — for yourself.
But believe it or not, a Japanese company is selling just that, calling them "solo weddings" for those who want to get hitched without legally getting hitched (no groom required)!
According to the Daily Mail, Cera Travel offers a two-day package, costing around $2,750, that includes a dress fitting, picking out a bouquet and getting your hair and make-up done. Clients can even choose a man to accompany them to a photo shoot.
The festivities are then capped off with a night spent in a fancy hotel, aka "the honeymoon suite."
"It is a truly unique experience and one that we are very proud of," a spokesman for the company said. "All the details are taken care of by wedding professionals and for those who don't want a traditional white wedding dress we offer our Geisha service, which sees the brides going on an historical photo shoot dressed up as Geishas."
So who in their right mind would shell out a couple thousand dollars for this? Cera is targeting working professionals who have put off marriage to pursue a career. They also think it will appeal to divorced women who simply want to feel special again.

Forty-three-year-old Nagi Daisen — one of ten women to have bought the package – explained why she was willing to fork over the dough. "I've been in a relationship for years but we've never got round to actually getting married. So I decided to do this for myself and it was amazing fun," she told the Daily Mail.
"I always wanted to wear a wedding dress and to be pampered like this and now I have been. It was great."
