After three miscarriages and four failed IVF attempts, the reality star decided to turn towards surrogacy. “Hopefully in the future I will have this opportunity," Lisa told 'Us Weekly' of becoming pregnant herself.
The blonde beauty documented her struggle to conceive in the second and third seasons of the Bravo series, which is now off the air.
“We felt that we tried almost every option available to us except surrogacy,” she explained. “Adoption was a consideration if this didn’t work.”
So when she found out that the surrogate was pregnant, “It did not feel real, almost unbelievable! Although I was beyond excited and overjoyed, we did not want to get our hopes up too high until we passed the first trimester,” she told 'Us.'
