We found cardigans that flatter every body and fix all flaws!
Want to flaunt your hourglass shape? A rounded hem like the one on Penélope Cruz's sweater mirrors the body's curves without clinging to extra weight.
A cardigan can quickly go from tasteful to tacky if it's buttoned-up and fitted -- especially on a woman who's a C- or D-cup. "You don't want anything that's pulling around the chest," says Zoey Washington, co-owner of Little Bird Style. An open-front cardi works well because the sides hit at the outside of the torso, not the center. "That way, you're working with your curves, not against them."
-Avoid big pockets. They'll make you look 5 pounds heavier.
-Beware of boxy cuts. Wide styles create a linebacker effect.
-Invest in boot-cut jeans. They'll help balance weight at the hips.
