How far are you willing to go for a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich?
The fast-food chain is offering their customers a chance to walk away with a free food today, Tuesday, July 11 — and all you have to do is dress up like a cow.
In honor of Cow Appreciation Day, those who choose to wear anything that resembles the milk-producing animal will walk away with a free meal.
Mooo-ve over, we're coming through!
"Cow Appreciation Day is the one day of the year when it’s okay to dress udderly crazy in exchange for free food," the restaurant wrote on its website. "Break out your spots and cow bells. We’re celebrating our favorite bovines the best way we know how: free chicken."
So here it how it works: make or buy your cow costume (this can be anything from a full head-to-toe costume or a t-shirt with cow spots) and head over to you nearest location anytime between opening to 7 p.m.
As expected, customers are seriously considering dressing up in exchange for the savory treat. "Do I wanna dress like a cow ... and get this free Chick-fil-A," one fan wrote while another hilariously added, "Anybody have a cow costume I can borrow until I get done visiting all 3 Chick-fil-A please."
Menu options available include the Spicy Chicken Biscuit and the Sausage Breakfast Burrito during breakfast and chicken sandwiches and nuggets throughout the rest of the day. Kids who dress up will receive a full kids' meal free of charge.
Just don't forget your lemonade and waffle fries!
