Taryn Brumfitt is a mother-of-three -- and she's set on changing the way we all view beauty.
The Australian native has launched the Body Image Movement, sharing her story to inspire other women to embrace their bodies no matter their shape or size.
She made headlines this week when she did what most people could never do: She stripped down naked and photographed herself naked. She then posted that photo [see above] on Facebook.
The Taryn of today will tell you how much she adores her figure -- imperfections and all. But the Taryn of yesterday is a different story.
In a new short film, she uses deeply personal images of herself, revealing the great lengths she went to to achieve a "perfect body." She became a bodybuilder and considered plastic surgery.
As it turns out, it didn't matter how toned or rock solid she was -- because she was still unhappy. Today, she's found that happiness.
She says, "It's taken a lot of effort, time and energy but I can tell you there is nothing better than a) loving your body wholeheartedly, lumps and bumps and all and b) telling society where they can shove their ideals of beauty."
